This is Ballistics SG Maxx Series. Ballistic has come a long way as a company. These are my favorite cases for protection. I've always been impressed with the materials they use for protection. The new SG Maxx Series takes all that is great about Ballistics design, and pulls it together to make one of the coolest iPhone 4 cases around.
Ballistic uses the SG look, but gives it a bit more thickness. Its a three piece versus The old SG two piece. We see a thicker silicone, denser shock absorbent polymer, and new molded, impact resistant screen protector.
The Silicone sleeve corners are thicker than before. The corners are Ballistics signature protection on any case they design. You see it from the LS to the Hard Core, and even on the New iPad Tough Jacket. If you break a iPhone in a Ballistic case from a corner impact, I'd be very surprised. Corners are the deadliest spot on any phone. they are guilty of shattering many phones. Ballistic SG Maxx, in true Ballistic style, seems to have that covered.
The Shock absorbant polymer, is another of Ballistic's signatrure moves. It is , to my knowledge, a polyurethane that wants to be a polycarbonate. Its not too hard, and not too soft. the density of it does not offset its ability to transfer energy. Hence, the Ballistic SG Maxx is ready for some of the toughest drops and falls you can offer.
The coolest new iPhone case feature, is the addition of the new molded screen protector. this screen protector can help absorb impact. Why is that good? Don't all screen Protectors do that? The answer is thart unless it is tempered glass or something other than a flimsy plastic sheet, screen protectors are generally for scratch resistance versus impact. If you were to take your new Ballistic HC, or Deffender Series Otterbox out and let a rock hit the screen square, it would shatter. Ballistic is advertising that this new molded screen protector ids going to absorb impact as well. another positive point, is if the screen protector gets jacked up, you can get a new one and change it out. All large Tank style cases have a built in screen protector that, unless knocked out, you are stuck with. this is going to allow the case to remain a bit slimmer than its Hard Core counterpart. With the addition of a Belt Clip, The SG Maxx may aim to compete with the big dogs, Otterbox Defender, Ballistic HC, Trident Kraken, and Lifeproof, by offering a higher level of versatility, less bulk, and solid protection.
I really think this is going to be a great case for folks looking to slim down their iPhone cases. Folks with a Galaxy S III are already able to experience this case in al it's glory. check out www.Zellatek.com for more info, videos, and products for all your smartphone needs. Thanks for reading.

They use a flexible polycarbonate frame.
